Today we are addressing you with a special request! Let's fight together with BASKETBALL AID - against cancer in children and for a strong basketball community.
Die Heiko Schaffartzik Challenge
This year's Pentecost tournament has a special goal: The BGZ as the organizer supports BASKETBALL AID! And with you! We are therefore launching the Heiko Schaffartzik Challenge and would be delighted if you would all take part!
It works as follows: Each participating team will donate €5 per three-pointer made to BASKETBALL AID (alternatively, for example, €1 per basket for the younger teams). Heiko himself is the patron of the campaign as well as the entire tournament. As a special highlight, we will be giving away prizes to all participating teams. For example, our supplier basketballbase.de will provide a participating team with shooting shirts and Heiko will donate a signed original Germany jersey for the raffle. We will also waive the registration fee for one team for the 2026 Pentecost tournament!

If you would like to take part in the challenge, please reply to this email with your team name or write to pfingstturnier@bgz.net. by June 6th. You will then receive all further information about the process and will be entered into the prize draw.
Basketball community fights
Of course you can also support BASKETBALL AID beyond our Pentecost tournament with a membership or donation. All in the spirit of a strong basketball community that fights. The BGZ and the Whitsun tournament are involved. If you have any questions, please contact Niklas at vorsitzender@bgz.net.
